I have always loved observing. Watching people. Questioning behaviour. Reflecting on the things we say, the things we do, and perhaps more interestingly, the things we accept without ever stopping to question.

For as long as I can remember, I knew that I would write someday. Someday became one day. One day became today and today became every day.

I never imagined that the thoughts, observations, questions, and reflections that occupied my mind would eventually find their way into books.

Perhaps that is what writing has always been for me, a place to put the thoughts that refuse to leave. Some observations become questions. Some questions become ideas. Some ideas become stories and occasionally, those stories become books.

I do not write because I believe I have answers. Quite the opposite, I write because I enjoy the questions.

I enjoy looking at something familiar and wondering whether there might be another way of seeing it. Many books later, I am still observing. Still questioning. Still reflecting and I suspect that will never change.

As long as I can think, I will write and as long as I can write, there will always be another thought waiting to become something more.

Just saying...

Thought-provoking reflections on life, identity and relationships, written in the style of a modern-day Socratic journal and told through poetic paradoxes and emotional honesty.
